We also have a range of\u00a0tricycles<\/a>\u00a0and a number of conventional bikes for children or adults accompanying other riders.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All our special dual cycles, with the exception of Duet, are side-by-side machines. These are all controlled (steering, braking and gears) by the rider on the right \u2013 who we call the \u2018pilot\u2019. The rider on the left is able to help move things along by pedalling, or in the case of Plum by hand cranking. All the cycles have gears and safety \u2018parking\u2019 brakes as well as various other\u00a0safety features<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/strong>We have\u00a0four similar\u00a0twin cycles which are two normal bikes joined together to link the steering, braking and\u00a0pedalling. The person on the right hand bike has all the controls whilst the person on the left hand bike can help with the pedalling. These cycles are great fun to\u00a0ride and are best suited to young people <\/span>and smaller adults, but can safely be ridden by\u00a0all ages.
\n<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\"gambolSide-by- Side\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>A side-by-side semi-recumbent tricycle which enables both riders to pedal either together or independently. The comfortable seats and low seating position makes this cycle very stable and easy to control. A seat belt and footplates add to the security of the rider.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hand cranked side-by-side (Plum)<\/strong>\"trevor\"
\n<\/strong><\/span>Another side-by-side semi-recumbent tricycle out of the same stable as side by side\u00a0and\u00a0with\u00a0many of the same features, the principal difference being that Plum is hand cranked on one side and has a large footrest<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wheelchair tandem – Duet<\/strong>\"duet3a\"
\n<\/strong><\/span>Duet is a brilliant combination of wheelchair and mountain bike \u2013 like a wheelchair\u00a0rickshaw.
\nThe chair has adjustable head and foot rests, a full safety harness, plus push-rims and spoke guards, and can be detached from the cycle to make mounting and dismounting easier.<\/span><\/p>\n

Velo<\/span><\/strong>
